Swing Era Themed Wedding

Updated: Dec 6, 2023

Wren and John had a lovely wedding day filled with so many wonderful details that were important to them! Their swing era themed wedding started with the ceremony at the beautiful St. Peter Catholic Church followed by the reception at Brookside Gardens Event Center. Prior to the ceremony the couple read letters from each other and prayed together which were both beautifully personal moments for them. They had a traditional Catholic mass to honor their shared Catholic faith which is a big part of their lives.

The reception had a swing era vibe with a live big band. The groom is in the US Air Force, so along with the swing theme, they had military elements as well like a sword arch for their entrance which was really unique and personal to the couple. They kept the swing era theme throughout the decor, their style, and their photos. They also had swing dance lessons for guests in between the ceremony and cocktail hour. Dancing was really important to the couple and they wanted their guests to have a great time!

The last song of the evening was “New York, New York” which was the perfect iconic song to end this amazing swing era themed wedding!

Wishing Wren and John a lifetime of happiness!
