Halloween Inspired Wedding

Updated: Mar 28

Rachael and Trace's Halloween inspired wedding was perfect for October! From the stationery to their attire to the ceremony, they incorporated their "til death do us party" theme through the entire day. They described their day as wondrous, authentic and unique. The venue was the right fit for their aesthetic and budget which is always important! The couple described their style as spooky semi-formal or gothic chic and incorporated lots of black and purple, amethyst crystals, cauldrons and witchy elements, along with candlelight. They had a coffin-shaped arbor with a neon sign that read “til death do us party” that was on-theme as well.

This was a wedding with tons of unique aspects which was incredibly fun. They tried to question every traditional wedding element, pick and choose what fit and what didn’t, and made up the rest! For the ceremony, they had a cauldron into which they explosively mixed liquid nitrogen and water as a unity ceremony. The bride wore a black dress with a crow skull affixed to her veil, and the groom wore a coat with tails and a necklace made of rattlesnake bones. For the reception, they identified the guest tables with Tarot cards that represented married life.

Rachael was most excited about her custom black dress and introducing all our friends and family to each other while Trace looked forward to reciting their vows. After the wedding they shared their favorite parts of the day. For Rachael it was tearing up the dance floor! They had a spectacular band (Funky Business) that kept everyone moving! As for Trace, it was their private first dance on the rooftop and seeing all their friends and family from around the world in one place.

Congrats Rachael and Trace! Wishing you all the love and happiness!
