Wanting to use Gold and Greenery to make your wedding pop! Emma and Ryan did just that.
What I really loved about Emma & Ryan’s wedding was the unique ideas sprinkled throughout the whole day. They greeted their guests with a glass of champagne on a champagne wall prior to the wedding ceremony. This was great, especially for those early guests that wanted to mingle. The champagne wall stayed open throughout cocktail hour.
Another was their signature drink. As many of you know, I love dogs! So, when couples can include their pets, I get so excited. The venue did not allow pets, so they got creative. Instead of having a his and hers signature drink, they had a Humphrey. It was so cute; they even added his picture with him all handsome next to his signature drink. How adorable is that!
As their unity ceremony, they tied the knot. This is a common tradition using 3 strands. One represents her, one him, and the third represents God. Tying the three cords together is a symbol that they will celebrate their religion within their marriage.
Another trend that I am seeing more and more is the king’s table. When you have a large wedding party or want to include your wedding party’s partners, a king’s table is a great way to go. However, Emma really wanted the king’s table to pop and make a statement. There were different larger arrangements on the table that really brought the attention to the table. She filled the seats with the bride and groom, the wedding party, their partners, and even their parents. It was a great focal point in the reception and a great way to honor the VIPs at the wedding.
They also added a WOW factor with the sparker Grand Entrance! Which led them right into their first dance. Emma had a song created about their love story as a surprise gift for Ryan as the first dance. He thought it would be a different song plating and seeing the surprise on his face and hearing the touching words of the song for the first time as he danced with his bride was fantastic! The song was created by Allie Chipkin of @giveloveoriginals.
The other elements of décor were in keeping with the greenery and gold theme. It even spread to the wedding party attire.
Don’t forget about transportation!
It was such an honor to be a part of this wedding. Emma and I hit it off with our type A personalities and I loved all of the work and creativity that she put into their wedding.

TESTIMONIAL FROM EMMA AND RYAN
“I cannot say enough good things about Carver Coordination! Simply the best choice for couples in Colorado! Seriously, don’t waste your time continuing to look at wedding coordination options, and trust me when I say Carver Coordination is the best option for anyone planning a wedding in Colorado!! Stacie has shown utmost professionalism since my first interaction with her. I wasn’t even sure if I needed a wedding coordinator at first because my venue includes a venue coordinator with the package, but let me tell you, I NEEDED Stacie more than I could have ever known! She has gone above and beyond in helping to plan and coordinate my wedding. She is so organized and put together, and every meeting makes me feel more calm and confident about how my wedding day will go.
Our wedding day was absolutely perfectly coordinated 100% due to Stacie. Our parents and wedding party told us how great Stacie was on our wedding day. There were also a lot of stories of snafus where Stacie Saved The Day and I had no idea anything was even going on. I also remember a moment in time during my wedding day where I looked over and she was sweeping the floor, that's when I knew we had chosen the absolute BEST for our wedding day-of coordinator because she will absolutely go above and beyond! I felt so stress free on my wedding day thanks to Stacie and I honestly think that is invaluable. Also, Stacie's package prices are phenomenal! I don't understand why anyone would pay more money, when you could have Stacie do a better job at a lower price. Don't make that mistake!! She also gave me a discount for being a healthcare worker on the front lines during the height of the pandemic, which goes to show how amazing she is!! If you are reading this, NO your wedding venue coordinator will not be sufficient! Hire a professional, caring, hard working coordinator (AKA Stacie/Carver Coordination) and enjoy the wedding day of your dreams! Thank you Stacie!!!!”
